If a tree must be cut down, I think it is great that it continues it’s life as a musical instrument or even a beautiful piece of furniture for that matter. Something that is going to last. Like John McLaughlin once said – Guitars are living breathing creatures. I agree with this and it is cool that the tree lives on. Sort of in a second life of some nature.
